Payroll without the spreadsheet
KD ERP Payroll is for the owner who still works out salaries in a spreadsheet at the end of the month. Set each person's pay once, run the month, check it, and send the payslips. Per-day workers and advances are handled too.

What Payroll does
Monthly and per-day pay
Pay a monthly salary, pro-rated for days deducted, or a daily rate for days worked.
Allowances and deductions
Define your own components as fixed amounts or a percentage of basic pay, and mark which are taxable.
Overtime
Overtime can use classes at 125% and 150%, a flat rate, or a rate set for one employee.
Advances
Record an advance and it is recovered from the next payslips automatically, with a running ledger per employee.
Salary tax slabs
Enter your own slabs and a tax year starting in any month, plus provident fund and similar deductions as components. Where salary is not taxed, leave the table empty.
Payslips
A payslip PDF per employee, which you can email or send as a WhatsApp link.
Runs you can check
Generate a run, recalculate, finalise it, and mark it paid. A finalised run can be reversed. A register and a bank list can be downloaded as CSV. Runs can require approval first.
Bank salary file (WPS format)
Produces the WPS salary file (SIF) for a finalised run, for your bank or exchange house to upload. A readiness report lists whose labour-card or bank details are missing, and a CSV import fixes many at once. IBANs are checked.
Leave
Leave types, accrual rules, requests with approval, and unpaid leave that flows into the payslip.
Gratuity
An end-of-service gratuity estimate based on the UAE gratuity rules (Federal Decree-Law 33/2021), and an optional monthly accrual that is off until you switch it on.
Final settlement
Work out gratuity, leave encashment, notice and advances when someone leaves, and post it as one journal.
Document expiry alerts
Track visa, labour card, Emirates ID, passport and contract dates, with a daily email to your admin and HR users listing what is about to expire.
What it does not do yet
So you do not find out after you start.
- The salary file is in the WPS format. There is no bank-file export in other formats yet; if you need one, we can build it as a company-specific module.
- There is no employee self-service app. Payslips reach staff by email or WhatsApp link.
- Gratuity is an estimate. It is not legal advice, and you should check a leaver's final figure.
- A paid run or settlement cannot yet be reversed as a payment.

Questions
Does it produce the WPS file?
Yes, in the WPS format. After you finalise a run, it produces the salary file your bank or exchange house uploads. If an ID is missing, the readiness report tells you whose.
Can I pay people by the day?
Yes. An employee can be paid a monthly salary or a daily rate. Advances are recovered from later pay.
Are the salary-tax slabs correct?
You enter them, so they are as correct as you make them. Check any slabs against current rules; you can edit them.
Who can see salaries?
Only people whose role includes payroll. Roles are set per user, so sales staff never see pay.
