KD ERP worldwide

KD ERP works worldwide

KD ERP is not built around one country. You set the tax rates, the tax number that prints on your documents, the financial year and the currency. This page says plainly what that covers, what applies in a few markets, and what we build for you when your market has special requirements.

What it is

The country-neutral parts of KD ERP: currencies, tax rates, e-invoicing data and the apps, with short notes for six markets.

Who it is for

Businesses outside our home market, and anyone who bills in more than one currency or runs companies in more than one country.

Works in any country

Multi-currency

Invoices can be issued in ten currencies today: PKR, AED, USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, SAR, QAR and INR, with exchange rates you enter yourself. If you bill in something else, tell us and we will add it.

VAT, GST and sales tax

You configure the tax rates. VAT, GST or sales tax is a rate you set, not one we decide for you. Your tax number and the name of your tax authority print on documents.

Per-line tax

Each invoice line carries its own tax rate or exemption, tax is worked out on the discounted amount, and it posts to its own ledger accounts.

E-invoicing data model

Invoices can be produced as EN 16931 / Peppol UBL data, with readiness checks that list what is missing before anything is sent. The connectors are untested with live providers.

Accounting and invoicing

Invoices, credit notes, receipts, a double-entry ledger, bank accounts, expenses and customer statements, per company.

CRM, inventory and purchasing

Customers and leads, stock across warehouses, purchase orders and vendor bills.

POS

A point of sale for the counter, with receipts, refunds and stock issued from inventory on each sale.

Projects and timesheets

Projects, tasks, timesheets and attendance, with progress billing and project profitability.

Bookings and field service

Appointment bookings, and jobs for technicians with a schedule board.

Fleet and rental

Vehicles, drivers and maintenance; rental units with a rate card, reservations, agreements, deposits and billing.

eCommerce

A Shopify or WooCommerce store connected to your stock and orders. The connectors are untested against live stores.

Recruitment and documents

Job openings, candidates, interviews and offers, and document types with expiry dates.

Helpdesk and customer portal

Service cases with service-level targets, and a portal where your customers see their invoices and tickets.

E-signature and online payments

Click-to-sign signatures on documents (not a qualified electronic signature), and online payment of invoices.

Short market notes

What applies where, in a few lines. None of this is a claim of local certification or filing.

Middle East

VAT is a rate you set, and your tax registration number prints on documents. AED, SAR and QAR are built-in currencies. E-invoicing rules in the region are changing, so ask us what your country needs before you rely on it.

Europe

VAT rates are set by you, per line. The e-invoicing data model follows EN 16931 and can be produced as Peppol UBL; connectors are untested with live providers. E-invoicing mandates differ by country and are evolving, so ask us.

United Kingdom

VAT at the rates you configure, with GBP as a built-in currency. Peppol UBL data can be produced. Government submission is not built in; ask us if you need it.

United States

Sales tax is a rate you set per line; it is not looked up by address. USD is built in. Filing returns is not part of the software.

Canada

GST, HST or provincial sales tax is a rate you set, per line, with CAD as a built-in currency. Tax returns are not filed by the software.

Australia

GST is a rate you set, with AUD as a built-in currency. Peppol UBL data can be produced for the Peppol network used there; connectors are untested with live providers. Lodging returns is not built in.

Local requirements

Built for your market when you need it.

  • Local payroll rules and tax-authority integrations are not built in generically.
  • For markets with special requirements (local payroll rules, tax-authority e-invoicing or filing), we build company-specific modules for your company. Contact us or try the demo to talk it through.
  • KD ERP does not file returns with any tax authority and makes no claim of local certification.

Special requirements?

Tell us about your market and we build a company-specific module for your company.

Questions

Does it work in my country?

Yes for the general parts: your currency (or ours if it is among the ten, or we add it), your tax rates, your tax number on documents and a financial year from any month. If your market has special requirements, we build a company-specific module.

Does it submit e-invoices to a government system?

No. It produces the e-invoicing data and checks it is complete. The connectors are untested with live providers, and filing is not built in.

Can one login run companies in different countries?

Yes. Each company has its own currency, tax number, letterhead and users, and you switch between them.
